Abia State Teachers Recruitment Portal 2025
This recruitment drive aims to fill teaching positions to support the state’s free and compulsory education policy. Both NCE and Degree holders are eligible. Recruitment will cover primary and secondary schools across all local government areas.
Requirements
- Nigerian citizens
- Residents or indigenes of Abia State
- Aged under 35 years as of January 31, 2025
- Hold at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, in one or two sittings
- Educational qualification: NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc.Ed, B.A.Ed, HND + PGDE, or equivalent
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate required
- TRCN registration is an advantage
- Basic computer literacy is preferred
- Medical fitness certificate required
All certificates must be originals, statements of result are not acceptable.

- Select your preferred level (primary or secondary)
- Complete the application form with personal and academic details
- Upload required documents:
- Passport photograph
- O’Level result(s)
- NCE or B.Ed/HND/B.Sc certificates
- NYSC discharge/exemption certificate
- TRCN registration (if applicable)
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Certificate of state of origin
- Valid ID (NIN, voter’s card, driver’s licence, or passport)
- Medical fitness certificate
- Review all inputs and uploads before submission
- Submit your form and download/print the confirmation slip
