NSCDC & Paramilitary Agencies Recruitment 2025/2026 | Update on Portal Opening

Nigeria Civil Defence (NSCDC), Immigration, Fire Service & Correctional Service Recruitment – The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued an important update: the online recruitment portal, originally due to open on June 26, 2025, has now been rescheduled to open on Monday, July 14, 2025. All applications must be submitted online via their official recruitment portal. The recruitment is completely free of charge; any demand for payment is fraudulent.

This year’s nationwide recruitment drive includes:

• Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
• Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
• Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS)
• Federal Fire Service (FFS)

Openings are available across various ranks and technical fields—including Superintendent, Inspectorate, and Assistant cadres—depending on the specific agency and qualifications.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Nigerian citizenship by birth
• Age between 18 and 35 years
• Minimum height: 1.65m (male), 1.60m (female)
• Male applicants must have a chest measurement of at least 0.87m
• Must be medically, physically, and mentally fit
• Must not be criminally convicted, and must be of good character
• No affiliation with cults or secret societies
• Must have valid academic credentials:
  • At least SSCE/NECO/GCE with five credits, including English and Math
  • Higher education (ND, HND, NCE, B.Sc., etc.) is required for higher cadres

Remember: Applying to more than one agency will result in automatic disqualification.

3. Complete the form with your personal and educational information.
4. Select only one agency and one rank to apply for.
5. Upload required documents:
   • Passport photograph
   • O’Level certificate
   • ND/HND/B.Sc./NYSC certificate (if applicable)
   • Birth certificate/age declaration
   • State of origin certificate
   • Valid ID (NIN, voter’s card, passport)
6. Review your entries for accuracy.
7. Submit the application and download the acknowledgment slip.
